We'll fast track your account opening using an ANZ Customer Registration Number (CRN) or ANZ bank account number.
We'll open your account, then help you get started with ANZ.
This is the number you use to access ANZ Internet or Telephone Banking. You may also provide us any 9 digit ANZ bank account number if your CRN is not handy.
This is the ANZ everyday/savings account that your pension payments will be deposited into.
If you do not already have an ANZ Smart Choice Super account, we will open one for the purposes of receiving rollovers from your other super account(s) as well as any contributions. To commence payments you will need to call Customer Services on 13 12 87 to transfer the balance of your ANZ Smart Choice Super account to your new pension account.
You can choose either the ANZ Smart Choice Super lifestage fund (which is based on your age) or you can make your own investment decision.
Retirement is not far away, so your money is balanced across defensive and growth assets. Defensive assets such as cash and fixed interest provide you greater stability, and growth assets such as shares and property allow you to receive the potential higher returns into retirement. As you approach retirement, your investment mix will automatically increase its weighting of defensive assets to provide greater stability with your savings.

Insurance in your super
By opening an account you receive automatic Death cover*, unless you opt out. Enjoy peace of mind knowing that should the unexpected happen, your loved ones are protected. There are no paper forms, no medical checks and because fees are deducted from your super balance - no impact on your take home pay.
Death cover inside super can be a simple and tax-effective way to protect your loved ones if something were to happen to you.
Why are we asking this question?
Your level of premium is based on your age, gender and smoking status.
Note: Smoking includes cigarettes, cigars, pipes, chewing tobacco and smoking of any illegal substances.
If you wish to remove your automatic Death cover or add optional Total & Permanent disability cover*, you can do so via ANZ Internet Banking or by calling 13 12 87 the day after your account is opened.
Once your account is open, you can change your insurance cover anytime via ANZ Internet Banking or by calling 13 12 87.
Keep in mind your cover will only commence when your account has sufficient funds to pay one month's insurance fees.
* Cover is subject to eligibility and excludes pre-existing medical conditions.
